Now we have a “topic” to discuss here. We need to write this out so new people understand how to begin discussion. Anything could be used to begin, than all can answer that topic directly.
Perhaps we have been to focused on “Initiative” and not discussing the Topic fully before any Initiative “matures”.
I believe we can discuss things right here.
One of the things which I am concerned about is that there are few country’s which have the process which allows the people to initiate and decide anything. The lsParlement decission process is useless until the decissions can be applied and enforced.Outside of Swiss, I do not know of anyone with Initiative (including recall) and BINDING Referendum. The BINDING part makes the peoples enforcement by Referendum absolute. They make law, change constitution, recall elected officials etc.
So how can we begin a topic on I&R which could lead to people developing ways to initiate I&R in their country? We need ideas of how to begin. Should a page be made describing the necessary wording? Who would write that? Could we ask for volunteers or recruit someone? Who? We need a beginning.
How can we recruit the people necessary to sign a petition to accomplish this?
Do we need a website for each country with leParlement on it so people can be recruited to that country’s petition?
Where would such a server be? Who would pay for it? Do we need to find financial assistance first? This should not be “government” sponsored, because than they want to “control” it and that is the dam problem. WE want to control it….
I believe we must have a totally peoples group, who decide what the people want and than using I&R demand it of their government.
